3 Things You Need In Order To Be A Successful Entrepreneur

So you want to be an entrepreneur? Why not? Everyone else is doing it! Why not you? Well let me be the first to tell you that this game is hard! There is no way around it not being hard. Its not for the easily offended or distracted. Its not for the person who gives up after one setback, bad day or sleepless night. This game is only for the strong.

I have three things that I absolutely feel are important in grabbing success as an entrepreneur:

A Need to Learn

You will be challenged left and right. Obstacles at every turn. Some things you just wont know how to do and when you're just starting out, your budget probably wont afford for you to hire anyone. This means you'll have to do it yourself. In order to be successful you have to grasp that lifetime learner mentality and get it done on your own.

 

A Biz Bestie

Yes your family will be very supportive in your new venture. They may even share your content and purchase your products. But they will have no clue on the amount of work on the backend. You need someone who will understand that the Mailchimp, Facebook Ads and Lead Page talk. You want to find someone on the same playing field as you. Search Facebook groups related to your niche, reach out to people in your area in your field or attend networking events. Your biz bestie is out there somewhere!

A Bit of You Time

Don't get to caught up in work that you forget to carve out a little niche of time for yourself. In the midst of taking care of my kids, running my household and running a business and my part time job- there are not enough hours in the day. I make sure that I have some me time for at least 30 minutes a day. Whether I wake up early in the morning to have my coffee and surf Facebook, a trip to the grocery store alone or a nice hot bath at the end of the day.- I get my me time in.

This is just starter list of things needed in order to be a successful entrepreneur. What other things do you have to add to the list?
